Billit (Belgium, Peppol)
If your company is based in Belgium, CursusOffice can send your invoices and credit notes on the Peppol network through your Billit account. The document is born in CursusOffice; Billit transmits it and returns the status.
What you can do
Send issued invoices and credit notes on the Peppol network.
Check the totals: before sending, CursusOffice compares its own with those calculated by Billit and does not send if they differ.
Follow the delivery status from the document.
Check from the customer record whether a customer is reachable on Peppol.
How it works
- In CursusOffice open Integrations and turn on the Billit module.
- Connect your Billit account with the credentials Billit gives you and choose the environment (test or production).
- CursusOffice runs a few checks (company data consistency, numbering) before enabling sending.
- From the issued invoice choose "Transmit": the status updates by itself.
What you need
- A company based in Belgium.
- A Billit account, in your name.
- The Billit module turned on in CursusOffice.
Limits to know
- Some cases are not handled yet and are blocked with a clear message: line discounts and certain 0% VAT exemptions.
- The connection is for Belgian sellers; Italy and Poland have other channels.
- The recipient customer must be reachable on Peppol (Peppol identifier set in the customer record).
- CursusOffice does not issue on your behalf: always check the rules that apply to your case with your adviser.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Billit account?
Yes: transmission goes through your Billit account, under its terms.
What if Billit calculates a different total?
The document is not sent and you are told why: no invoice leaves with uncertain amounts.
Can I try it without sending to real customers?
Yes: you can use Billit's test environment.
