E-signature

Yousign

Write the contract in CursusOffice with the customer's details already filled in and, once it is active, send it for signature with your own Yousign account. When everyone has signed, the signed PDF comes back to the contract and the signature date updates by itself.

What you can do

Send an active contract for signature: the text is already frozen and the PDF carries the signature boxes in the right place.

Set the customer's signer (required) and, if you want, your company's one.

Follow the status: sent, signed, declined, expired or cancelled, with the history in the contract.

Keep the signed PDF in the contract, with its checksum.

How it works

  1. In CursusOffice open Integrations, turn on the Yousign module and enter the API key of your Yousign account (test or production environment).
  2. From the active contract choose "Send for signature", set the signers and confirm.
  3. Yousign sends the invitation to the signers; CursusOffice reads the status from Yousign and, when signatures are complete, saves the signed PDF.

What you need

  • A Yousign account in your name: costs, plan and signature level depend on that contract.
  • The Yousign module turned on in CursusOffice.

Limits to know

  • The legal value of the signature (simple, advanced) depends on your plan and Yousign settings: CursusOffice does not provide qualified signatures.
  • Today signing is available for contracts, not for quotes or proposals, and not in the client portal.
  • Only one active signature request per contract at a time.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a Yousign account?

Yes: signing goes through your Yousign account, under its terms. CursusOffice connects it and reads its status.

Is my account key safe?

It is stored encrypted and never shown in the interface.

Can I try it first?

Yes: you can connect Yousign's test environment, which has no legal value, to see the flow.
