Terms of service
En vigor desde 24/10/2026 · versión 1
1. Who we are and who the Service is for
These Terms of Service govern the use of the online software platform (the “Service”) offered by Design Web Multimedia Agency, Italy, VAT number 04018830135 (the “Provider”), available at cursusoffice.com and cursusoffice.it.
The Service is intended exclusively for businesses, professionals and organisations using it for their own activity (the “Customer”). It is not offered to consumers. By signing up you declare that you act for professional purposes and have the authority to bind the business you represent.
2. The Service
The Service is a subscription-based business management platform which, depending on the chosen plan, includes features such as customer records, quotes, invoices, payments, expenses, contracts, projects, time tracking, a portal for the Customer's own customers, automations, an API and integrations with third-party services. The features of each plan are described on the website and in the Plan area of the account. The Provider may update and improve the Service over time; it will not remove essential features of the purchased plan before the end of the period already paid for.
3. Account and security
- To sign up you must provide truthful data and a valid email address, which is used to confirm the registration.
- You are responsible for your credentials and for the users you create. We recommend enabling two-step verification (mandatory for administrators under the security settings) and revoking access that is no longer needed straight away.
- You must notify us without delay of any unauthorised use of the account.
4. Free trial
Where offered, the trial is free for 30 days from account creation and does not require a payment card. When the trial ends the account moves to an export-only period of 10 days, during which you can choose a plan; if you do not, the account is closed as described in section 7.
5. Plans, modules and fees
- Prices for plans, optional modules and the custom domain are those published on the website at the time of the order, VAT included. The price of a confirmed order does not change for the period purchased.
- Plans are prepaid for a period (monthly, semi-annual or yearly according to the price list). There is no automatic renewal: at the end of the period the plan expires and it is up to you to renew it.
- Optional modules are activated for the period you choose and not beyond the plan's expiry. The custom domain is billed yearly.
- Payment is made by card through the payment service provider Stripe, or by another method we indicate. The Service is activated or renewed when payment is confirmed; where the payment provider flags a risk we may verify the transaction before confirming it.
- For invoices relating to the fees we ask for your correct tax details; invoices are issued electronically as required by applicable law.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service for unlawful activity, to send spam or harmful content, to infringe third-party rights, to attempt to access other customers' data or to bypass technical and security limits (including API rate limits). We may suspend the account in case of serious breach or risk to the platform's security, notifying you as soon as possible.
7. Term, expiry, closure and data export
- The contract lasts for the paid period (or the trial) and ends on expiry unless renewed.
- You can export all your data at any time (tables as CSV, issued documents as PDF and XML, attachments) from the Account and data area.
- If you ask to close the account, or the plan or trial expires without renewal, the account enters an export-only period of 10 days and is then closed.
- After closure we keep the data for 10 and then delete or anonymise it, except data we must keep by law.
8. Your data and personal data protection
The content and data you enter into the Service remain yours. You authorise us to process them as needed to provide the Service. For the personal data of your customers, suppliers and collaborators that you enter into the Service you are the data controller and we are the data processor: the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) applies and forms an integral part of these Terms. For the personal data we process to manage your account the Privacy Policy applies.
9. Tax compliance and Customer's responsibility
The Service is a management tool and does not provide tax, accounting or legal advice. VAT rates, exemption natures and reasons, electronic document formats, numbering and retention rules vary by country and over time: it is up to you to verify, also with your accountant, that the documents you issue are correct and that your obligations (including transmission to tax systems) are met. Settings suggested by the Service, such as the VAT proposed according to the customer's country, are an aid and do not replace that verification.
10. Third-party services and integrations
The Service can connect to third-party services of your choosing (for example your own Stripe account to collect your invoices, e-signature services, e-invoicing software, cloud storage). You have a direct contractual relationship with those third parties: their terms, costs and availability do not depend on us, and the credentials you enter remain encrypted and available for you to revoke. We are not liable for malfunctions of third-party services.
11. Availability and support
We do our best to keep the Service available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance is announced where possible. Support is provided through the Help section and the contacts shown on the website.
12. Intellectual property
The Service, the software, the trademarks and the content we provide remain the property of the Provider or its licensors. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right, limited to the term of the contract, to use the Service for your business. The portal you offer to your customers carries your brand, not ours.
13. Warranties and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law the Service is provided “as is”. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence or any liability that the law does not allow to be limited. In all other cases the Provider's total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the event, and the Provider is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit or loss of opportunity, unless the law forbids it.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate the contract for serious breach, non-payment or unlawful use, with notice where possible. You may close the account at any time; fees already paid for the current period are non-refundable unless the law provides otherwise. If we close the account on our own decision through no fault of yours, we refund the unused part of the paid period.
15. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes are communicated to you at least 30 days in advance (email or notice in the account) and apply from the stated date; if you do not accept them you may close the account before that date. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law. The courts of Ferrara italy have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
